Soul Food Thanksgiving Dinner Planned at Clarke

The Clarke University B.L.A.C.K. Student Union will provide a Soul Food Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 21, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the Clarke Dining Hall.The cost to the public is $7. Students will be allowed to use their meal plans.  The Soul Food Thanksgiving Dinner menu includes: fried turkey, baked ham, baked sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, baked mac and cheese, braised Greens, cornbread, peach cobbler, and red velvet cupcakes.The meal will be prepared by the B.L.A.C.K. Student Union members, assisted by Clarke Dining Services Staff. This is the third soul food dinner that the B.L.A.C.K. Student Union has held in the dining hall, but the first with the Thanksgiving theme.
