The Clarke University Golf Classic has been positively impacting the university community for nearly four decades.
What began as a fundraising event to help build the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center eventually grew into an effort to build the Clarke Classic Scholarship Endowment Fund for local students. Today, the endowment fund is self-sustaining and the annual Clarke Classic Scholarship Program will exist into perpetuity.
Our event has come full circle to once again support Clarke Athletics. With nearly 80% of our traditional undergraduate students being collegiate athletes, your support of the Golf Classic will fund renovations in the Kehl Center, specifically within our athletics training spaces and Allendorf Classroom.
The 37th annual Clarke University Golf Classic is going to be our biggest yet, offering two fantastic golf courses to choose from: the Dubuque Golf & Country Club and The General at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa in Galena.
The event will kick off with a shotgun start with a light lunch provided. Afterward, we’ll gather back at Clarke University for a gourmet steak dinner, silent auction, and brief program announcing the tournament results.
EVENT ITINERARY:
- 9:30 a.m. – Player Registration at Eagle Ridge
- 10:00 a.m. – Player Registration at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- 10:30 a.m. – Shotgun Start at Eagle Ridge
- 11:00 a.m. – Shotgun Start at Dubuque Golf & Country Club
- Following Golf – Steak Dinner, Program, and Live Auction in Clarke University’s Mary Josita Dining Hall
