International Transfer Students Admissions Process

Application Process

 

To ensure timely processing, we recommend that international students submit their application for admission at least three months prior to the start of the semester in which they plan to enroll—unless you are transferring from another institution within the U.S. 

  1. SubmitYour Application 

Complete and submit the online application for admission. 

  1. Provide Academic Records

Submit an official copy of your college transcript to Clarke University. 

  • Submit an official copy of your college transcripts if transferring from an international institution. If a student-athlete you must have your transcripts evaluated by InCred for eligibility with the NAIA. 
  • Complete the Course-By-Course Evaluation ($190USD) for InCred 
  1. SubmitEnglish Language Proficiency Scores (if applicable) 

One of the following official scores is required: 

  • TOEFL: 
  • 550 (PBT) or 
  • 75 (IBT) 
  • Clarke’s TOEFL code: 6099 
  • Duolingo: Minimum score of 105 
  • IELTS: Minimum score of 6.0 

English proficiency may be waived if you meet one of the following criteria: 

  • Successful completion of an ESL program and passing grades in Composition I and II 
  • Completion of an Associate of Arts (AA) degree  

Admission Standards

  • To be considered for admission, transfer applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. 
  • Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities are required for both admission and academic review. These transcripts should demonstrate consistent academic progress and success in core coursework. 
  • Applicants with fewer than 24 completed college credits may also be required to submit an official final high school transcript.
