Nursing Education Certificate

Students desiring to teach at the collegiate level are eligible to complete an additional four classes (12 credits) in nursing education. These courses can be added to either Doctor of Nursing Practitioner concentration or to a bridge program or can be taken as a standalone post-master certificate. Courses are offered in an online format. 250 clinical hours are required. Graduates are eligible to sit for the Certified Nurse Educator exam upon completion of this additional requirement.
