In order to save time and resolve your problem as soon as possible, please try to tell us the following.
- Please describe your problem as specifically and in as much detail as possible.
- Have you encountered this problem before? If so, please tell us where you were and if you were using different computers or devices for each occasion?
- Which web browser(s) are you using?
- Do you have a firewall in place? (If you are at work, you might have one.)
- What kind of computer or device are you using?
- Which link or database are you trying to use, and what is the title of the library page you found the link on? Please be as detailed and specific as possible.
Programs and updates
- Have you recently updated any programs such as flash or adobe or updated your browser?
- Finally, can you enclose a screen shot or screencast of the error message or your steps that lead to the error? (You can use Jing to do this)
