Build Your Own Visit
Your Visit, Your Way
College is a unique experience and at Clarke, that starts with your visit! While other colleges may take you on a standard tour, our Build Your Own Visit experience allows you to design a day that matches your goals and interests.
Select up to 3 Specialty Sessions including
but not limited to:
- Classroom Visit (Student Only): Students, sit in on your first Clarke University class and experience a college course, while your guests are welcome to explore campus.
- Current Student Chat: Meet with a Clarke student to chat and get their perspective on life at Clarke.
- Faculty One-on-One Meeting: Meet one-on-one with faculty from the department of your academic interest.
- Accessibility: The disability accommodation process changes from high school to college, so it is useful to meet and talk about what Clarke offers and how you can access services.
- Scholars Program: The Scholars program will prepare you to be a critical thinker and adept researcher – skills that stand out on a resume for employers and graduate schools alike. Plus, you can earn a scholarship for your involvement.
- Black Male Leadership Society: We promote graduation, engagement, and overall success of those individuals historically underrepresented at the University, including Black males, by addressing various scholastic and social challenges through academic engagement, mentoring, peer connection, and student involvement.
- Mock Trial: Students involved in mock trail can compete as character witnesses and attorneys while trying a court case. It is fun and a great way to meet other Clarke students and reinforces communication skills, critical thinking, and learning about the justice system.
- Theater: Students involved in theater can work on all aspects of a small theatrical production. From acting to writing a script to lights to costuming to directing, there is something for everyone in Clarke’s Cast & Crew!
- Campus Life & Student Organizations: Meet with student engagement staff to learn more about a day in the life of a student leader at Clarke, and how you can join or create your own student organization.
- Study Abroad: Meet with a faculty member to get to know your options for Studying Abroad during your college career at Clarke.
Plus, you can request additional information on fine arts, scholarships, and more. With Build Your Own Visit, the choice is yours!
