What do I do if I have forgotten my username/password for Moodle and can’t get logged in to Moodle?
Click here to reset your Moodle password. Your username for Moodle should be your full email address that you entered when you registered for your CareerPLUS micro courses(s). Do not leave any spaces before or after your username or password when you copy/paste or type them into the fields. How do I change my password once I log in to Moodle?
To change your password, log in to Moodle and click on your name in the upper-right-hand corner of the window. Click on “Preferences,” and then on the “Change password” link. Enter your current password into the field, and then type your new password into the appropriate fields.
What is the best way to access the micro course content in Moodle from my phone? Is there an app I can download?
Downloading the Open LMS app will allow you to easily log in to Moodle from your phone. After installing the app, type in https://moodle.clarke.edu/login/index.php#specialexceptionlogin in the “Your Site” field and then click on “Connect to your site.” You will then be prompted to type in your Moodle username and password and click “Log In.” Once you are logged in, click on “My Courses” to access your micro course. This app also allows you to download content for offline access.
Will I need to purchase any textbooks for a micro course?
No. All content included in the micro course comes at no additional cost.
How long will it take for the facilitator to respond to my discussion form post or Quickmail message?
Your facilitator will respond to learner posts to discussion forums and/or Quickmail messages within 24-48 hours.
What do I do if I am unable to access a link in the micro course lesson?
If you can’t access a link, please try from a different browser (i.e. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.). If you are trying to access the resource from work, it’s possible that your company computer may have restrictions set up prohibiting you from accessing the link. If you are not able to access the link from any browser, please contact your facilitator for assistance.
Will I come away from the micro course with any handouts or materials that I can reference after the micro course closes?
Yes, a handout will be available within the micro course that provides a summary of the resources (including hyperlinks) referenced in the micro course.
How will I receive a Certificate of Completion for this micro course?
If you successfully complete this micro course (i.e. achieve 80% proficiency on all of the assessments), you will be emailed a certificate of completion.
Where do I access my transcript for CareerPLUS micro courses?
You may view your CareerPLUS transcript for non-credit bearing micro courses under “My Registration History” on your CareerPLUS online account.
