As part of communicating as One Clarke, One Community, it is important to have some shared language. The following paragraphs provide some common language that quickly and accurately describes the Clarke experience, and can be beneficial when producing materials about the University.
What is a Clarkie?
Clarkies lead from the heart and embrace our values of education, charity, justice, and freedom. As the Clarke Pride, we are united in our authentic commitment to the common good. We learn, live, lead, and give together, and you feel it the moment you step foot on campus. Once you are part of the Pride, you are part of a family you can count on for life.
