The Clarke University Music Department will host its annual “Musical Menus on Broadway” on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29, in the Wahlert Atrium on the Clarke campus. The event features a five-course gourmet meal and the musical styling of various Clarke music ensembles, student soloists, faculty and guest performers.Cost for the dinner and musical review is $70 for premier seating, $60 for gold seating and $50 for blue seating. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (563)584-8642 weekdays between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Seating for the event begins at 6 p.m. each night, with service starting at 6:30 p.m.Money raised from Musical Menus help fund various projects of the Clarke music department, including costs for new equipment as well as travel for tours of the university’s ensembles. The evening will include solo and small ensemble performances as well as performances by the Clarke Collegiate Singers, the Clarke Cantabile Singers and Clarke Instrumental Ensembles.
