Education Endorsements

Offerings to Match the Needs of Educators

Clarke University works closely with area school districts while keeping a pulse on national trends in education. As such, our offerings are continually evolving, including two of our newest endorsement offerings:

  • K-12 Special Education Endorsement: As recently approved by the State of Iowa, Clarke now offers a special education endorsement that covers grades K-12 and encompasses Strategist I and Strategist II. If you already have a special education endorsement, you can upgrade a K-8 endorsement to a K-12 endorsement with just two classes. 
  • Social Emotional Learning Certificate: We all know that social emotional learning is a critical part of student learning, and this 12-credit graduate certificate can enhance existing skills and introduce new approaches. With courses like “The Trauma Response Educator” and “Reflective Educator,” this certificate may be taken as a stand-alone credential or as part of a master’s degree.
