BVM Core Value Award

The BVM Core Value Award is presented to a current full-time member of the faculty, staff, or administration who strongly exemplifies the BVM Core Values of Freedom, Education, Charity, and Justice, as well as the quest for self-knowledge and the application of knowledge for the greater good.

This year’s Clarke University BVM Core Value Award was presented to:

Here is an excerpt from the nomination for this year’s recipient:

“Amy exemplifies the Core Values as she seeks to connect and enliven our community, both internally and throughout the region. She continually seeks new ways to compellingly tell the Clarke story to new generations and strengthen relationships with alumni and friends. She lends her time to diverse committees such as the Strategic Plan, Arts at Clarke, and Mackin-Mailander, with much of her planning and forethought laying the groundwork for successful community events. She carries the BVM Core Values into the greater community as an advocate for our local schools, serving on organizations’ boards, and more. Everything she does, she does for the betterment of us all.”
